Experience the warmth, clarity, and expressive playing feel of the Taylor Premium DarkTone Ivoroid 351 Guitar Picks, a premium collection designed to enhance midrange frequencies while delivering the familiar responsiveness of traditional celluloid picks. Part of Taylor Guitars’ DarkTone Series, these picks combine specialised materials, precise craftsmanship, and classic styling to offer guitarists a refined playing experience.
Crafted from a custom blend of premium celluloid, the Ivoroid picks undergo a carefully controlled curing process to recreate the elegant appearance of natural grained ivory without using animal-derived ivory. Their distinctive finish provides a sophisticated aesthetic while maintaining the smooth texture and comfortable feel associated with high-quality celluloid picks.
Featuring the traditional 351 pick shape, these picks offer familiar handling, reliable string contact, and comfortable positioning between the fingers. Their precision-cut construction promotes consistent picking response, making them suitable for acoustic and electric guitars.
Available in two thicknesses, the 0.96mm variation offers a balance of firmness and flexibility, making it suitable for controlled rhythm playing, flatpicking, and expressive lead passages. Meanwhile, the 1.21mm variation provides a thicker, firmer feel with reduced flexibility, ideal for guitarists who prefer a more substantial pick and precise single-note articulation.
Taylor’s DarkTone Ivoroid collection is engineered to produce a warm, midrange-focused tonal character while retaining clear note definition. Whether you’re strumming chords, playing intricate acoustic melodies, or performing electric guitar solos, these picks provide a responsive and controlled playing experience.
Manufactured in the USA, each retail pack contains six premium Ivoroid guitar picks of the selected thickness. Combining distinctive ivory-inspired styling, durable celluloid construction, and dependable performance, the Taylor Premium DarkTone Ivoroid 351 Guitar Picks are an excellent choice for musicians seeking versatile playability and expressive tonal character.
