All Maple Shells

The CL52KRS features 100% maple shells in a thinner gauge than previous Superstar models. Maple is prized for its warm, balanced tone with strong projection, making this kit versatile across genres from rock to jazz. The thinner shells enhance resonance and sustain, giving the drums a more open sound.

Power Craft II Drumheads

The kit comes equipped with Tama Power Craft II drumheads, which are factory-fitted to deliver a balanced tone right out of the box. These heads are durable enough for heavy hitters yet responsive for nuanced playing. They provide a warm, controlled sound that works across genres, making them a solid starting point before upgrading to premium aftermarket heads.

Claw Hook

Tama’s claw hooks are designed with a built-in rubber lining that protects the bass drum hoop from damage while ensuring a firm grip. Tom Holder
