The Shure MX180/N Microflex Lavalier Microphone Housing provides a flexible foundation for professional speech, presentation, broadcast, and sound-reinforcement applications. Its modular design accepts interchangeable Shure Microflex cartridges, allowing users to choose omnidirectional, cardioid, or supercardioid pickup according to their application.

The MX180/N includes the lavalier housing, cable, in-line preamplifier, windscreens, and mounting accessories, but does not include a microphone cartridge. A compatible R183B, R184B, or R185B cartridge is required for operation.
