Explore precision, speed, and expressive playing with the Jim Dunlop PVP119 John Petrucci Signature Guitar Pick Variety Pack, a premium collection featuring four signature pick designs developed in collaboration with John Petrucci, the acclaimed guitarist of Dream Theater. Designed for guitarists seeking exceptional control, smooth string release, and versatile playing characteristics, this six-piece collection offers an opportunity to experience different pick designs developed for Petrucci’s demanding touring and recording requirements.
Inspired by Dunlop’s iconic Jazz III shape, each signature pick features carefully refined characteristics to suit different playing preferences. The collection includes one John Petrucci Jazz III Pick, known for its compact design and precision-focused tip, alongside two John Petrucci Primetone Picks, supplied in Black and Oxblood Red. The Primetone picks feature specially shaped edges designed to promote smooth string release and controlled articulation.
The pack also includes one John Petrucci Flow Pick, which features a sculpted profile and bevelled edges for efficient string transitions, making it particularly suitable for rapid alternate picking, intricate lead passages, and technical guitar performances.
Completing the collection are two John Petrucci Trinity Picks, featuring a distinctive three-sided design developed to offer an alternative playing feel and greater versatility. Their unique shape provides multiple playing edges, allowing guitarists to explore different picking positions and techniques.
With a variety of shapes, materials, and playing characteristics, the PVP119 collection allows musicians to compare each design and discover which one best complements their individual playing style. Whether you’re practising progressive metal riffs, recording detailed guitar solos, or refining your picking technique, these premium signature picks offer an excellent combination of precision, comfort, and control.
The Jim Dunlop John Petrucci Signature Pick Variety Pack is an ideal choice for dedicated Petrucci fans, progressive rock and metal guitarists, and players looking to explore professional-quality guitar picks in one convenient six-piece collection.
