Experience powerful picking precision and legendary metal performance with the Jim Dunlop PH122T114 James Hetfield White Fang Custom Flow Guitar Pick Tin, a signature collection developed in collaboration with James Hetfield, rhythm guitarist and vocalist of Metallica. Featuring six specially designed 1.14mm White Fang picks housed in a collectible metal tin, this set combines professional playing performance with distinctive artist-inspired styling.
Developed to meet James Hetfield’s demanding playing requirements, the White Fang is based on Dunlop’s popular Flow Standard Pick design. Its compact profile offers excellent manoeuvrability, allowing guitarists to maintain precise control during aggressive downpicking, fast alternate picking, and complex rhythm guitar passages.
Each pick features blended bevelled edges inspired by the original Black Fang design, providing smooth string release and a sharp, articulate attack. Combined with durable Ultex construction, the White Fang delivers a firm and responsive playing feel that helps individual notes and powerful chords retain clarity, particularly in high-gain guitar applications.
A standout feature is the specially developed textured grip pattern, designed to keep the pick securely positioned between the fingers even during intense performances. Its 1.14mm thickness offers an excellent balance of rigidity, control, and responsiveness, reflecting the specifications refined through Hetfield’s own performance testing.
The picks feature a distinctive white finish with black fang artwork, providing a bold signature appearance. The included collectible metal tin displays matching James Hetfield White Fang artwork while offering convenient storage and protection for the picks.
Whether you’re practising Metallica’s iconic riffs, performing demanding metal arrangements, or collecting signature guitar accessories, the Jim Dunlop James Hetfield White Fang Pick Tin provides an excellent combination of durability, control, precision, and collectible appeal.
