Switching System

When the pickup selector switch is in the neck position, the neck pickup is selected.
When the switch is in between the neck and centre position, the neck pickup and the centre pickup are selected.
When the switch is in the centre position, centre pickup is selected.
When the switch is in between the centre and bridge position, the centre pickup and the neck side of the bridge pickup are selected.
When the switch is in bridge position, the bridge pickup is selected.

Controls

With the guitar held in the playing position, there is one knob and one switch along the lower edge of the body.
Closest to the neck is the five-way pickup selector switch.
Closer to the input jack is the tone knob. The volume knob is located right above the five-way pickup selector switch.

Nita Strauss is a Los Angeles-born guitarist who has become a powerhouse in the music world, captivating audiences across six continents. She’s best known as the longtime guitarist for rock legend Alice Cooper, and has shared stages with artists ranging from Jermaine Jackson to video game supergroup Critical Hit.

Her exceptional skill and dynamic stage presence have earned her features in major music publications and contributions to dozens of albums and soundtracks, including the Grammy-nominated Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Strauss is also the author of Guitar World magazine’s monthly column “Like a Hurricane.”

In 2018, Nita made history as the first female signature artist with Ibanez guitars. Her signature model, the Ibanez JIVA, features custom DiMarzio Pandemonium pickups—also designed by Strauss.
