The BOSS GK-5 Series Divided Pickup brings guitar and bass players into the next generation of BOSS synthesis and instrument modeling with the advanced Serial GK digital interface. Each string is detected independently, allowing compatible BOSS processors to perform detailed pitch, synthesis, and modeling functions beyond the capabilities of a conventional pickup.
Featuring a slim pickup and lightweight, low-profile connector housing, the GK-5 Series is designed for clean integration with modern instruments. The GK-5 is made for standard steel-string electric guitars, while the GK-5B supports most four-, five-, and six-string electric basses with adjustable sensor spacing. Both connect using dedicated BOSS BGK Series Serial GK cables for stable digital transmission.
