The D’Addario 50BAL08 Auto Lock Guitar Strap combines comfortable woven nylon construction, distinctive styling, and innovative locking technology for guitarists and bassists.
Featuring a stylish Moss Green finish, this guitar strap offers a subtle, earthy appearance that complements a wide variety of electric guitars, acoustic guitars, and bass guitars. Its solid-colour woven design provides a clean, understated look suitable for both modern and traditional instruments.
Constructed from soft, durable woven nylon, the 2-inch-wide strap provides comfortable shoulder support while remaining lightweight and flexible. Its adjustable length of 30 to 55 inches allows musicians to customise their preferred playing position for home practice, rehearsals, studio recording, and live performances.
Developed in collaboration with Ned Steinberger, D’Addario’s integrated Auto Lock system features spring-loaded latches that automatically secure the strap to most compatible guitar strap buttons. Simply slide the strap ends over the buttons to engage the locking mechanism. To remove the strap, lift the latch and slide the strap end away from the instrument.
Unlike conventional guitar straps with standard leather ends, the 50BAL08 provides built-in locking security without requiring separate strap locks or permanent modifications to compatible instruments.
Whether practising at home or performing on stage, the D’Addario 50BAL08 offers a practical combination of comfort, durability, reliable attachment, and distinctive Moss Green styling.
Compatibility Note: The Auto Lock system is not compatible with endpin output jacks or plastic strap buttons.
